Monstradamus
A power trio from Wethersfield, Ct., these guys classify their material as "aggressive progressive". Brothers Mike DeRocher (guitar) and Joe DeRocher (bass) along with Henry Rodriguez (drums & percussion) create original music that is both captivating and challenging to play. Their influences range from The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, King Crimson and Frank Zappa to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Rush and Kansas to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Mr. Bungle and Dream Theater among others. Blending these influences helps create their distinct sound and style. Their debut CD, Madman's Roust, was released February 26. 2008 and is available in select stores, online and at their shows.
