n late 2004, the idea of Hillcrest began by friends Matt & Nate. The principle foundation of the band was laid upon the notion of creating rock music that is fun, energetic, insightful and free of the mundane stereotypes that now loom over the rock genre. Through the years Hillcrest has seen members come and go, yet the mission has remained the same and the rock music maintained. In October of 2006 Hillcrest had the great fortune of acquiring bassist Rick and later went on to join the Connecticut based indie record label, Sling Slang Records in fall of 2007. Morale is high with the beginning of 2008 and almost four years after its creation we feel that the band is heading in the right direction. With the recent addition of Tim on rhythm guitar and vocals we are eagerly writing new songs and plan to start booking shows in the near future.
